Meet Dr. Christina Popov

Dr. Christina Popov earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. During and after her advanced training at Boston University, she practiced alongside specialists in oral surgery, periodontics, and endodontics, gaining comprehensive exposure to complex and multidisciplinary dental care. This experience strengthened her ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions with precision and confidence.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, Dr. Popov earned her first dental degree from the Medical University of Varna School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2016 and practiced as a general dentist prior to continuing her education in the United States.

Dr. Popov broadened her clinical perspective through international internship programs in Bulgaria, Ireland, and the United States. She is highly skilled in all aspects of general dentistry, with particular expertise in prosthetic restorative care, including crowns, bridges, and implant restorations. She also provides esthetic services such as full smile design and smile makeovers, veneers, and facial injectables (Botox®). These treatments may be used not only to enhance facial harmony but also to help relieve jaw tension and migraines associated with clenching or TMJ issues.

Dr. Popov is a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the Providence Dental Study Club. She is a passionate, detail-oriented dental professional committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Outside of the dental office, she enjoys baking (she attended culinary high school), gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
