Meet a Dentist Dedicated to Creating Great Smiles
My name is Dr. Brian Miller, and I have been practicing dentistry at this South Attleboro location since 1991. That’s 32 years (2023) and counting. I began my dental career with Dr. Jeffrey Lambert and in 1999 my close friend, teacher and mentor Dr. Darryl Lung became my business partner and Miller Lung Dental Group was created. It has been a wonderful journey.
I am a Rhode Island native, educated at Bishop Hendricken High School (1983), Providence College (1987), and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (1991). I have three children, three grandchildren, and an amazing wife Mary Lou with whom I added three more children and two grandchildren. Family takes up most of my free time. I do play some hockey, golf, and love to fish when not doing things with my family and friends.
One of the best things I did as a young dentist was to join the Seattle Study Club. This study club introduced me to a group of area dentists with the common goal to share information and continue our education with all the advancements and current trends in dentistry. When we discuss patient care, we have a collaborative effort of experience, knowledge, and expertise which greatly helps with the diagnosing and treatment planning cases.
The study club has given me exposure to some of the best dentists in the world, and I have kept current with all the new technologies and materials. I am excited about the future of dentistry and see artificial intelligence (AI) and bacterial analysis coupled with prebiotics therapy as two of the new technologies that will quickly influence patient treatment and allow for better individualized care.
Lastly, I could not have chosen a better career for my personal values, goals, and skill set. By getting to know my patients and providing comprehensive quality care, I can make a difference in their dental health and overall well-being. I hope to see you in the office.
